U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Trade Relations, will provide a series of educational webinars to help members of the trade community with classification of their commodities. The webinars will be held from June through August, with each event focused on a specific commodity and presented by the respective CBP National Import Specialist.
We are encouraging all members of the trade community to attend the webinars of interest to them as a means of better understanding the classifications of commodities. Once you have registered for a webinar, you will have access to all of them.
The CBP live webinars will be recorded and available for subsequent on-demand viewing over the Internet. The programs will consist of a high-level overview of the initiative, policy, or other topic, and will conclude with an opportunity for attendees to ask pertinent questions. To maximize the trade community’s ability to ask questions during the webinars, the presentation portion will be limited to approximately 30 minutes.
